Fairmont Little League - Opening Day

Fairmont Little League is excited to announce our Opening Day ceremonies for Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at Mary Lou Retton Park!

The schedule of events includes:
• Noon – Introduction of all teams and Little League pledge
• 12:20pm – Presentation of 2017 District 5 Champion 10-11 all-star team
• 12:30pm – Ceremonial first pitches by:
o Joe Mazzulla – Former WVU basketball star and current Fairmont State men’s basketball head coach
o Joe Romeo – Fairmont businessman and dedicated contributor to the community who has partnered with Fairmont Little League for over 25 years
• 1pm – Home Run Derby
• 3pm – EFMS vs WFMS softball (C-ball field)
• 4pm – A-ball: Rotary vs Hometown Hot Dogs
• 6pm – A-ball: Joe’s Cars vs Knights of Columbus
• 6pm – Junior League game (High School field)

Concession stands will be open, and the Heavenly Hoagies food truck will be on-site all day.

Please join us for a fantastic day of baseball to kick-off the Fairmont Little League spring season!
